| Schefter: Peppers WON’T play for Patriots in 2009 | 03.17.09 at 9:03 am ET |
Adam Schefter of the NFL Network told WEEI’s “Dennis & Callahan” this morning that Julius Peppers will not play for New England in 2009. (Check out the interview here.) This would appear to contradict a report yesterday from NFL.com reporter Vic Carucci that indicated the Patriots and Carolina Panthers were working on a deal that would send Peppers to New England for the 34th pick in the upcoming draft.

Sure getting Peppers would be nice but it is not a “must-have”, at this point. Especially if the rumors about Jason Taylor are half-way true. I think Taylor is more of a value choice (over Peppers), even though Peppers would be the better/younger player.
Bottom line, BB has earned my trust and I expect he’ll do what is best for the team (as he always does). In BB I trust…. (repeat after me)?

Ya,your right. It would be nice. But, you have to take care of your family first. Guy’s that been there for awhile and deserve some hugs! Peppers, big money big problem in locker room. Other teams try to imulate the pats. They need to stay their ground, take care of your house first! GO PATS!!
