Rumors were flying that Michael Vick had touched down in New England Friday for a possible meeting with the Patriots, but according to this Associated Press report, Michael Vick was nowhere near New England. Instead, he was at a hearing on his Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan in Virginia.

    Wrong, yes he was/is. plus this article says absolutely nothing to refute the timing. There are MULTIPLE witnesses whos saw VICk..Multiple.

    Sorry–other than idle message board speculation, I haven’t heard any sort of reliable evidence to say he was in New England today. Unless someone can produce photographic proof, I’m inclined to refute these stories. (BTW, the Patriots issued an official statement late this afternoon saying he wasn’t here.)

    I didn’t put stock into those rumors, because the idea that Vick would be someone the Patriots would want is absurd. The guy can’t play.
