Here’s a quick take on how D.C.-area media outlets are breaking down Friday’s Patriots-Redskins preseason game:

Redskins.com has four Washington players worth keep an eye on and why — Jason Campbell, Stephon Heyer, Andre Carter and DeAngelo Hall. Campbell is No. 1 on the list, and for good reason. He’s struggled mightily lately, going 1-for-7 for 10 yards in his three series of work last week against the Steelers. “I don’t feel pressure, it’s everyone else trying to put pressure on me,” said the quarterback. “Right now it’s more negative than it is positive. Everybody is talking about 1-for-7–come on, there have been games where I have been 20-for-23. One-for-7 is definitely something I’m not concerned about.”

"When Hulk go on vacation, he have fun time at Washington Monument..."

•Redskins.com also has a nice feature on New England native Todd Collins, who is working as a backup to Campbell. While praising Campbell, the Walpole native also confesses it’s tough sitting and watching. “It’s so hard because you don’t get any reps in practice. Really the deck is stacked against you,” Collins said of working as a backup. “You have to put in that extra time in the facility, pay attention in meetings or do whatever you can gleam to get an edge.”

•In the Washington Times Redskins blog, Campbell pokes some good-natured fun at former teammate and current Patriots’ defensive back Shawn Springs. Campbell ran into the oft-injured Springs in the offseason. “The first thing he wanted to talk about was ‘I can’t wait to play against you. All the times that we had in practice, now I get to come there live,’” Campbell said. “I was like, ‘All right Springs, if you play.’” The Times also has a nice breakdown of the game, with five things to watch for if you’re a Redskins fan.

The Washington Post’s Redskins blog has Campbell talking to the media about what he wants to accomplish against the Patriots. “Just go out there and execute,” Campbell said. “We want to score points, of course. That’s one of our goals and things that we want to do, but one thing for us is to go out there and just get into a rhythm.” They also have a piece about Campbell’s teammates telling him to ignore his critics. “It’s not about silencing; it’s about handling this team,” said wide receiver Santana Moss said. “If he’s playing just to shut somebody up, then he’s playing for the wrong reason. If he was smart — and I’m pretty sure he is — he wouldn’t even listen to it”

The Washington Examiner has an intriguing feature from a Washington perspective entitled “What We Need To See,” a list that includes points, turnovers, improved backup offensive line play and better special teams coverage — all from the Redskins.

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d truly appreciate it.
