FOXBORO — For a moment Wednesday, Tom Brady forgot that he actually HAS been to London before for a football game.
Well, an animated version of himself, anyway.
That’s right. As Brady was reminded in one of the more creative questions of the day from WHDH-TV’s Larry Ridley, the star quarterback brought the Patriots to the U.K. to play the London SillyNannies in the ‘Patriot Games’ episode of the ‘Family Guy’ in 2006.
I don’t remember that trip,” when first asked by Ridley. “I love that show. I love that show. It’s a great show. For anyone who hasn’t seen it, you’ve got to buy the DVD set.”
Somewhere, ‘Family Guy’ creator Seth MacFarlane is smiling, along with Stewie.
This time around, like his animated counterpart, it will be “all business.”
And speaking of family, Brady confirmed his wife pregnant wife Gisele would not be making the trip overseas.
“It’s a business trip,” Brady said.
