Report: Despite lockout, 2011 NFL schedule will be released next month

The NFL schedule for the 2011 season will be released in “mid-April,” according to a report from Pro Football Talk. PFT checked with NFL spokesmen Greg Aiello, who e-mailed: “The plan is to release the schedule as we normally do in mid-April. An announcement date has not been set.” (Last year, the league released the 2010 schedule during the week of the draft.) That news comes less than a week into the first work stoppage in NFL history since 1987.

    well just to let the nfl no that dont let money stand in the way of playing a game it seems people uused to play football for fun now its all about money,dont let money stop the nfl cause if its just about money its crazy and stuid,the players aint playing for the fun of it no more thats what they need to do latley all its been is money money money greed is going to mess everything up not just in the nfl its all over the world and all thats messing things up is money.

    Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
