By

Patriots personnel guy Nick Caserio gets lifted off his feet by Nevada tight end Virgil Green at a workout earlier this week. (Mark Rauh, Rauh Photography)

It’s not easy working guys out — just ask Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio, who was putting Nevada tight end Virgil Green through his paces at the Wolfpack Pro Day earlier this week. Thanks to this picture, it looks like he got jacked up pretty good. (The photo is courtesy of our friends at SilverandBlueSports.com.)

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton

(UPDATED, 11:47 a.m.: Hampton defensive lineman Kenrick Ellis worked out Friday for the Patriots, according to a league source.)

Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?

Ive been meaning to read this and just never got a chance. Its an issue that Im very interested in, I just started reading and Im glad I did. Youre a fantastic blogger, 1 of the finest that Ive seen. This weblog certainly has some details on topic that I just wasnt aware of. Thanks for bringing this stuff to light.

just need to see Seguin on the half-boards more often.

  • http://twitter.com/OlsonKevin Kevin Olson

I think they are just seeing what he’s got.

  • Swanville

Do the Bruins really think anyone cares? Hey, go back on strike! Lost me as a fan.

  • Njmb24

The Bruins have penalized him for this year.  And they keep his rights for nexty year.

  • Xander Bogaerts

If they toll his contract they will have his services for next year. Then they are responsible for his 5 million cap hit next season whether he plays or not and given the cap goes down they need the cap relief. Can’t see the, doing that.

If they don’t toll him he will be a UFA come July and free to sign with any team he wishes. I say the Bruins let him go and free themselves of the distraction that Thomas has become.

  • God save us

Hey nimrod, how exactly did he lose good faith?  Just because he doesn’t agree with your leftist views?  Tim actually gave normal people hope that all is not lost.

  • Dano50

Ron…you ought to realize you sound like a caveman.

    Sorry Geico Caveman…

  • Dano50

    Yeah…right..

  • Dano50

Tim has every right to his opinions.  Sadly for him…those opinions are pretty dopey and met with well deserved derision…which is the right of those who differ with him.

    Funny how that works eh?

    Well said Tuukka.
A true Bruin fan would be totally upset with the Bruin Management. They sit high in the box seats and look down and watch there team perform. The “Cup” that the Bruins won, came on the outstanding game after game play of Tim Thomas. He as awesome to say the least. His performance will never be matched–never. Yet the LIBERAL Bruin Management decided to turn away from our ACE goalie, for Political views. You can’t replace a person like Tim Thomas, he’s irreplaceable. So as the Bruins Org. has made money their god, TT worships the real and living God. It’s all about Jesus, and when will the majority of people in Massachusetts realize that? When?
Thanks for being a Godly example Tim, hold true to your beliefs, and be Blessed !!!

  • caperick

”Dang! I never saw that puck going by me! If I hadn’t been thinking about that Tim Thomas question I would have stopped it!’ Do people realize how stupid that “distraction” crap sounds?

  • Fab4ever

…and if and when he does come back, he won’t be the “guy”…time and inactiveness has a way of eroding skills…say buh bye to Timmy….

  • Bruinman86

I already did that.  At the end of last season. Even if he wasn’t taking a season off, I figured he’d be traded. Too much money tied up for two #1 goalies.

  • Anonymous

they got an extra year and counts toward the cap. this year and next. he doesnt get a check but still a cap hit

  • guest

they suspend him. this year. and they can choose if they want to retain his 1 year left of service next year.

  • Joescotch4

I love Tim and Tukka… Both great hockey players and great guys…. You people out there its always “what have you done for me lately?”

  • Tomwoot

I think it is funny how the press has made his political comments a story.  I do not believe the common fan cares or thinks much about a players political views.  Thomas expressed his views on social media sites that were contrary to those of the liberal media.  The media did not like those views and decided to make them a story.  This story continues to inflate the actual issues.  Dan Cathy did not make anti-gay statements.  He expressed that he supported the “biblical family” (assumed to mean the a man, woman and children). This is no anti-gay but pro-family and he is entitled to that view.  Chick-fil-A does not discriminate against homosexuals. Neither the fans nor his teammates really cared what he said as long as he showed up, worked hard and stopped pucks.  This is where he has spent his goodwill and lost the faith of fans and his teammates.  He signed a contract and he has failed to honor that contract.  End of story.

  • San Diego Dreamer

I don’t know if I agree. The Whitehouse is pretty special.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/John-Richard-Walsh/1050485483 John Richard Walsh

Tim Thomas is a great goalie who does not approve of Obama trying to destroy the Catholic Church with his HHS mandate. For not approving of the Joe Stalin we have in White House born in Mombasa, Kenya and educated in Moscow USSR 1981-83 to be a communist, Catholics in New England have demonized Tim Thomas which shows how depraved they have become.

  • JeffA

Yes DJ Bean you and all your liberal friends in Mass ran Tim Thomas out of town. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. The Bruins will have lost a great goaltender because of your moronic political beliefs. Shame on all of you who came down on him.

  • Bruintruintrue

Not happy about Tim’s decision or some of his remarks and choices. He will be missed and let’s not forget if it wasn’t for his awesome run 2 years ago we would of never hoisted the cup.

  • Anonymous

Dan Cathy made anti-gay marriage comments- that is more than slightly different than anti-gay remarks, but who would actually expect honest and thorough reporting when it comes to this topic and the opportunity to portray someone’s religious beliefs as categorically bigoted?

  • Mcleans33

Is this red sox prospect xander bogaerts??

  • Mrsdreilly

No matter what the bottom line to this is he moved to Colorodo. That said, he has no intention of being a Bruin. He wants to play there..Something happened in the Bruins club house for his change of heart..

  • innovator1

    See ya.

  • bospofan

hey swanville.. dont speak for me ok bud.. now go get lost

  • Germanbabe

Tim Thomas will always be the greatest goalie I’ve ever seen. Sure, Tuukka Rask is good, but I still don’t trust him to keep the Bruins afloat this season as much as I would have trusted Tim.
