Report: Patriots work out a pair of Bearcats in Kelce, Hazelton

The Patriots worked out wide receiver Vidal Hazelton and offensive lineman Jason Kelce out of Cincinnati on Friday, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Hazelton is a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder who was at Souther Cal before transferring to Cincinnati. In his collegiate career, he had 63 catches for 649 yards and four touchdowns. Kelce is an interior offensive linemen who was at both guard and center over the course of his college career, and was named All-BIG EAST second team as a senior. Both are considered late-round draft possibilities.

    If you look at patriots draft, they hardly ever draft anyone that they are have the visits with or that people think that they will pick, I follow the draft closely and only one time in the 11 years BB has coached here have I gotten the pick rite, thats when they picked Vince Wilfolk, he kept slipping down the draft board, the Patz seem to rank players diffently than others, so who knows wat they will do,but this I will say if QB’s go flying off the board it wouldnt shock me if they traded both 1st round picks and ended up with a bunch 2nd’s and extra 3rds along with future picks.My hunch is the Pats will clean up in the later rounds of this draft.
