Shocker: Titans go for Jake Locker

The Titans have filled their need at quarterback, selecting Washington senior Jake Locker eighth overall. Locker provides Tennessee with a potential franchise quarterback after the failed Vince Young experiment.

Locker could have gone much higher had he come out of the draft after his junior year, but he returned to Washington for a senior year and saw his stock fall. His accuracy is the biggest thing in question, as he had a 55.4 completion percentage as a senior.

Locker had been rumored to the Patriots by some, as he was one of the signal-callers worked out by the Pats.
