Mark Herzlich says he hasn’t decided where he’s going to sign yet

Mark Herzlich (AP)

Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich said late Monday night that he had not made up his mind as to where he’s going to sign as an undrafted free agent.

With the lockout lifted, undrafted free agents free to negotiate with teams as of Monday afternoon, and several reports had Herzlich ticketed for Baltimore. However, he announced on Twitter that he had not yet made a decision, and would make an official statement on his future Tuesday. “For everyone I have not signed with anyone yet and am still making my decision,” he wrote. “Thank you for support and I will give official word tomorrow.”

Herzlich, the 2008 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, was not selected in April’s NFL draft. Despite that, his story remains an inspiration to many, as he overcame Ewing’s sarcoma — he had a titanium rod placed in the leg — and returned to play for BC in 2010.

Pats need linebackers especially one with what you have to offer.

The Bear in Underwear books are great reads for little kids as they learn to select their own clothes while emerging from potty training. The Bear is lovable and decides what color to wear based on day- and the whole series builds off this and other great ideas.Blue Apple continues to provide the best books for toddlers and small children, not to mention their educational series and their “doodles” series which is incredible.

The Bruins have not any leadership out on the ice….Giving the puck away constantly in the neutral zone….It really is time to sit some players to get a 3 or 4 day vacation…..What’s upsetting is the DMen can not handle the puck without giving it away…Or they successfully make a pass and the forwards give away….Who are the leaders out there on the ice…No one stepping up…It’s tough to see them getting by the Islanders or the Maple Leafs…..One period of decent play will not get you to the next round…..Peter Chiarelli, I would start seriously thinking about making a BLOCKBUSTER TRADE, like the one that brought Phil Esposito and others to the Bruins….Trade Up in the Draft and get yourself some talent ready to step in and start…Top10 talent would be a huge help and maybe 2014 Team could go all the way….Really I would sit out Line 1 for a three day stint, and so on…..None of these guys are sharp at all…This is not Bruins Hockey at all!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Bruinman86

I agree. The leadership has sucked this year. Unless they change their habits, this team will be one and done in the playoffs. Seems i get pissed off watching them every game as of late. Guess they need a makeover in the offseason.

      • Titletown1

B’man, I admire your optimism thinking that they can change their ways and still have a chance in the playoffs. I think it would be merciful to all of us if they are put out of their misery (and ours) in the first round so management can get on with the business of rebuilding this disaster…starting with the coach…followed by Lucic….followed by Horton…followed by……

        • Dinglepuss

With you on Lucic, the stupid penalties he took back when he was a good scorer drove me nuts so take away the scoring and well

Why Julien though? I don’t think this has anything to do with him being tuned out, this looks like a team being asked to play a lot of games in a short period that simply isn’t good enough.

          • Titletown1

They started off fine at the beginning of this 48 game sprint. Much of the psychological and physical preparation lies with the coach. I understand that some B’s (Lucic!) didn’t skate during the strike, but this team hit the wall 5 weeks ago. Claude’s defense first philosophy has proven a failure. Without TT standing on his head in 2011, the defense philosophy would have failed then too.
And yes, the players might have just tuned this guy out. Now we have the Boston Ballet of Jagr, Soderberg, and Krecji; completely goes against the Claude philosophy. That’s how desperate the B’s are now. I think he’s completely mishandled the development of Seguin and has actually set him back. It’s also looking like Chara is as old as Garnett; his best days are behind him.
They just need a complete face lift.

            Dead on.

        • NYCBruinsFan

All I can say is just look what Adam Oats has done for the Caps. I’m tired of hearing about the condensed schedule and how tired everyone is. Wish I had a job playing me millions a year to skate 20 minutes every other night.

        • Bruinman86

It’s either take charge, show some stones and kick butt or quietly fade into the sunset. Irritating team to watch.

    • NYCBruinsFan

I could not agree with you more Bob. This is not Bruin’s hockey! It’s so sad to watch them lose to these teams and watch such talent go to waste. Instead of the Big Bad Bruins, the should rename this 2013 team, the ‘just plain bad bruins’. It’s a wonder we are even in 2nd or 4th place.

  • bill

They suck like all the other Boston teams

    • Bill’s father

My son, please stop. I can’t keep covering for you. I bought you that trailer so you could stay off the streets and I got you the laptop so you could watch your cartoons..

        Same loser troll.

    • Uncle Buck

All it takes is a loss for the weak and feeble troll to reappear.

  • Dinglepuss

The tributes that Boston has been giving/receiving have started to be the only reason to turn them on anymore. Losses happen but Christ at least give me the impression you care

  • Anonymous

nice game loch….this is a contact sport, for your information

  • Shoe bottom

I agree with everyone. That Philly tribute was great. Lets get in the playoffs then I wish for luc, Horton, pev, to turn it on. I hope they get 3 points each a game. Then we off them for top value. It’s pretty clear to see they have been coasting into the playoffs which sucks for us fans cause we waited a half year while they were on strike what ever and then have basically been treated to street hockey effort.

  • BigArch

Jagr is sooo good. He can just move to any line and fit right in. How many goals has Chara scored for the other teams this month. I haven’t seen every game, but the ones I have… I count 3. each one a back breaker. Claude was hoping Chara would do the same in the slot on power plays. HA. Instead of pulling the goalie. “rest” the Captain.
