Offensive lineman Robert Gallery has agreed to sign a three-year deal with the Seahawks, according to a tweet from Adam Schefter. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft had spent his whole career in Oakland, and will now be reunited with Tom Cable. Cable was the head coach of the Raiders from 2008-10 and will serve as an offensive line coach and assistant head coach in Seattle.

In April of 2004, Sports Illustrated’s Peter King called Gallery “the best lineman to come out of college in years.”

How come it’s always …”your buddy’s Aunt” or “your sisters boyfriends’ mother’s-sister’s-cousins’ uncle”. You people are always talking about someone you know, that’s related to someone else who’s making money. Only your telling us …how much money your Not making. So why should we listen to you. Tell your agency they’re going about the ads the wrong way. Pay me and I’ll show them how to do it.

I’m happy they won tonight but honestly, the defense looks scary at times and what the heck is up with Rask flopping around like a wet mop. Too many rebounds and no one is getting control of the loose puck. I know ….it’s a win is a win, but the defense has to pick it up before the Caps or Pens come calling. Let’s not forget this is Toronto, we should be up 3-0 and getting some key players less ice time. Good to see Jagr and Krej clicking a little bit, I like those two together with Horton. Second line needs a lift.

Agreed. Rask scares me. The minute the opposing team gets anywhere near the net he goes to his knees and slides around the crease. He gave up another soft one tonight too….
But seriously, who was that number 17? Did they just pick him up?

You may be right about the defense, but don’t discount Toronto quite so much. They finished only a few points behind the Bruins in the standings and can score. Also, Jagr and Krejci don’t play together.

Great win tonight. Milan Lucic is coming alive and the first line is benefitting. Let’s put together two in a row and get home for some rest.

I also love Thornton buzzing all around out there and making things happen. What an awesome move to the net. He’s got moves like Jager. If only he could have flipped it in over his pads. He had Reimer beat badly.

  • Uncle Buck

Yep. He was pretty unnerved and it was easy to see. Nice to see the first line moving. This was a good game to take, puts Toronto on their heels.

That’s the beauty of sports…and the agony….I know how you feel…we’ve all been through it…..you can find a million clichés but sometimes it really is just the way the ball/puck bounces….

  • fab4ever

Lucic has taken on the spirit of Lurch from The Addams Family…I feel like Bob Ryan when he questioned Theo about JD Drew; “What’s all this fascination about JD Drew?”…What is the Bruins fascination for Milan Lucic? Have you ever seen a guy head as far south as this guy has over the course of a season plus? Did he somehow get a prescription of suck pills? I don’t get it….and neither does anyone else on these pages…it’s a common complaint from many, night in and night out, win or lose.

  • NYCBruinsFan

only didn’t they turn over cars and burn things in vancouver the night we won the cup?

  • ILoveHockey

but it shouldn’t be right now, 6 points in 3 games. If Looch and Horton were only going to “show” for a handful of games- I’d rather see them in the playoffs.
I’m begining to think they could not sustain their style of play in the condensed schedule, not enough time between games for the body to recover- so they tried to play a softer style.
