Flozell Adams

The Steelers cut right tackle Flozell Adams Friday, a story first reported by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review‘s Scott Brown. Adams, 36, was due $5 million this season, and Brown wrote that the Steelers might try to bring him back at a reduced salary.

Adams was a mainstay of the Steelers offensive line for the 2010 season, starting all 16 games. In 13 NFL seasons, he has missed just 14 starts.

Awesome, unbelievable, greatest comeback ever……but Jagr still s*cks donkey.

  • Troll Hunter

Great series and the Leafs remind me of that Montreal team sans all the flopping. Team speed is fantastic and they were even missing a couple of key players in Bozak and Fraser. They look like a very good team that will contend for years to come.

  • Dick Dorkins

One of the more unlikely comebacks you’ll see, they looked like they were going to go down without swinging or even particularly caring. Then suddenly HOCKEY TEAM

  • Troll Hunter

Nothing but class man……..If the Leafs had won tonight, I would have been on their bandwagon going forward even with them beating Boston. They are a fun team to watch and they play it clean.

  • Gray

wow that was an impressive come back to watch.. shouldnt have come to that but damn what a come back

  • Dynamite

Been watching the B’s for 60 years, and I’ve never seen anything quite like that. I remember 2 goals in the last 10 seconds against the Nordiques years ago, but that wasn’t in the 7th game of a series. Probably the only thing I’ve seen that rivals this was way back in the late 60s or early 70s when South Boston beat Arlington at the old Boston Arena in the state high school tournament. I think Southie was down 5-0 and won 7-5. Anyone else remember that?

  • glenn88

Zack, you are too relaxed. Your team just had a Buckner moment that will haunt the organization for decades. You really need to vent or break something (that you own). Not healthy man to be classy after what has just happened.

  • glenn88

Lucic was player of the series. He carried that team when they went down 4-1. Unbelievable series by the big man and great to see his game and emotion back.

  • fab4ever

Absolutely…they did remind me of a team in the bright lights for the 1st time in a long time and not knowing how to close it out…we’ve been there…oh yeah…it’s a stinging loss but they’ll be back….and they play the game the right way…the Canadiens are such a joke….

  • Bill’s father

He just woke up…we’ve had to change his Depends now at least 4-5 times since the 14 minute mark of the 3rrd period….doctor said only soft foods for awhile..he’s having a tough time keeping the dentures in..he insists on sucking the Poligrip right out of the tube…

  • Bruinman86

That has to be one of the greatest comebacks i have ever seen in all my many years of watching hockey. I have never seen a team score 2 with the goalie pulled in a playoff game. Great win, but to bring it down a notch, the Bruins should never have put themselves in this position to begin with. So as great as the win was, it still gives me some doubt about them against a real goaltender in lundquist in this next series.

  • fab4ever

Dave…take your lumps like a man…the Leafs were terrific..but they were hardly the “better” team…a better team would have NEVER relinquished a 3 goal lead with 6 minutes to go…we know. We’ve been there…We give mountains of props to the Leafs…..

  • fab4ever

As I would have been as well…

  • Bruinman86

Man, that’s just sad. If your Leafs were the better team they wouldn’t have lost. Instead, they showed why they weren’t ready yet to move to the next round. Maybe they are better next year. They certainly showed some heart in the series, no doubt. But they need a better goalie first.

  • Bruinman86

I thought the leafs had it as well. B’s looked over-matched for most of the game. Seems like they decided to sit on the lead and got away from playing the game the way they did when they built the lead. Shows they have a pretty good team. An upgrade between the pipes and they could go much further. BTW, thanks for showing class in what must be a disappointing defeat. If only the other fans could handle it like you did. I’m sure next season’s game’s between the two teams will have much more meaning now.

  • Bruinman86

I’m still in shock. Did what I saw really happen???? Talk about going from pissed off to elated in a 15 minute time period. What a monday!

  • Anonymous

U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E !!! 37 ….Thank You for waking up just in time.

  • Bruinman86

Well…….there were a few games he took off. Krejci could be considered the player of the series as well. His 5 goals and 8 assists are tops in the NHL postseason so far. But there’s little doubt Lucic got them going tonight. Can’t take that away from him.

  • renben

Don’t like a Ranger match up at all- Lundqvist can steal a series

  • Dan in N.

holy crap !!!.. I left after it was 4-1 leafs.. went out to eat had no idea until i just got back.. thought i was seeing things when i saw that score !!! what happened !!! the b’s looked cooked when I left…i swear im a jinx.. maybe i should keep not watching boston teams.. they seem to do better that way.
anyways.. im stunned and so happy for them.. hope i can see the highlights that i missed

  • Harsh Realities

JVR was ignored entirely appropriately because he had taken dives in every game of the series. That elbow to the face by one of the real good guys in the game with no penalty called was exactly how his behavior should have been dealt with. Well that and Z tossing him to the ice. 7th games should not be decided by refs and these refs did an amazing job of trying to keep themselves out of the way. JVR made himself look like a real loser the whole series and gave himself a reputation that should result in him getting his face beaten in on a regular basis for the next several years, and in penalties against him being ignored for a long time to come. Slash him, cross check him and punch him in the face until he abandons that approach. He’s too talented to allow him to play that way.

When it comes to the diving game, it really does come down to “who started it?” because whoever starts it is damaging the game and is a huge baby who needs a good beating.

  • Anonymous

Wow, I’m still in shock ….2 Goals with Rask on the bench. Even getting it to 4-3 with Tukka still on the bench I never thought they could tie it up b/c all Toronto had to do was clear it down the ice and the clock was on thier side. Unreal !! Back down to earth now, in time for a resurgent Lundquist and the Rangers.

  • tom

    Not good just lucky

  • sally

Bruins will destroyed by the Great New York Rangers

  • patty

bruins suck so go upstairs and play with your 10 year old sister

  • Troll Hunter

HAHAHAHA the douch e shows up and still whines……

  • Suck it Trolls.

You’re a moron so turn off the computer, put the straightjacket back on, and cry yourself to sleep, you absolute waste of life.

  • Your mother’s a whore

    I almost pity you… almost.

  • Dick Dorkins

That team was so gracious and pure class in the loss, shame you’re not enough of an adult to do the same

  • Dick Dorkins

What a sad, empty life you live. I’d genuinely feel bad if you weren’t so devoid of reasons to care.

  • NYCBruinsFan

Post your address so I can send you a few “Be my Guest” American Express gift certificates for dinner Thursday night and a late Brunch on Sunday.

  • Dan in N

Haa.. good one.. funny you said that since im in NY (forest hills) at this time..
How does City Crab sound?? or maybe blue water grill.
j/k of course.. Go Bruins !!!! I think I may just not watch !!!

  • Troll Hunter

“Bruins will destroyed by the Great New York Rangers”

Yeah, that makes about as much sense as your other ramblings. Changing your ID to a female, nice try but you are pretty easy to spot because your posts never change. Now go out and play in traffic you piece of shi t.

  • Troll Hunter

Same loser with the many IDs……………..

  • bench warmer

Bergy is the best damn center in hockey.

  • https://twitter.com/BostonSportFan1 ChrisinDanvers

As they said on the broadcast, the Bruins found that other gear. That last 13 minutes of hockey was some of the best the team has played all year. Great energy, solid hitting, and true pressure on the puck. It was great to see…even if, yet again, the Bruins had to put themselves up against the wall.

Excellent to see the Bergeron, Marchand, Seguin lline come through. If that line gets going finally, it will do a lot to help the team.

Great comeback and the type of effort that should help energize the team as it heads into the next round.

  • Bruinman86

No question he’s a better goalie. And we know the Bruins issues with offense. But, Washington’s offense was more dangerous and I don’t think the B’s could keep up with them.

  • Uncle Buck

Actually, just a hunch, but I’m pretty sure the twisted troll was the first one on here with the ID “MICHAEL” and his all caps comment. Fits his M O other than not hating on all “of Boston scum and how the teams all suck” Just looking for attention in any way he can get it.

  • Uncle Buck

Thanks for that tom, pete, mike, MICHAEL…good one.

  • Uncle Buck

Like the rest of the fans, I wrote this one off after the Leafs bagged the 4th goal. When Horty scored the 2nd goal I looked at the clock and knew it was possible, but still had no hope as I would not allow myself to get sucked back in for the pain. When Claude pulled Tuukka I said to myself, this never works, it’s gonna be a 5-2 game and we get to see the mob in Toronto again freaking out. When Bergy tied it I’m pretty sure my dog just about crapped herself I yelled so loud. Been watching a long time and never, ever saw anything close to this. Best part, we get to see the Rangers with home ice. Faith restored.

  • anguillaman3

Well said…that was an historic collapse by the Leafs with less than ten minutes left in a game 7 up 3 goals…and then 90 seconds up by two. The Leafs have some good players and played a very good series..no flopping or cheap shots.

  • Bill’s father

My son, why are you back here…? All you did was confirm that you’re a cross dressing freak, who tonight, is now wearing a dress..I thought there was something peculiar when I saw the charges on mom’s credit card from Victoria Secret….Sally? Really? Couldn’t you at least be a little more exotic like “Shaniqua” or “Desiree”??

  • Uncle Buck

Steve from Fall River called into EEI yesterday and went on one of his endless rants saying I told you so the Bergeron is a “nice player” but not even close to being a top ten forward in the NHL. I never wanted to punch that pric k in the head more than when I heard him say that. He is one of the most complete, all around forwards in the game. Amazing two way player, physical, fast, smart, penalty killer, master face off man, clutch and skilled scorer at the right times. He could lead the league in points if he didn’t pride himself so much on his defensive abilities. If I am starting a team, I start with him.

  • Uncle Buck

good stuff tom. thank you for that.

  • Anonymous

Great win. Toronto must have been watching the videos of the Bruins when they had leads in third period and lost. This should end that tendancy.

  • geetsolboy

He did for sure…but where was he prior to the final 14 minutes? It’s frustrating to watch. Chara was a beast all night…38 minutes of ice time…he really stepped up with Redden, Ference and Seidenberg all out.

  • Bruinman86

Boy, you’ve got to feel bad for that fanbase (minus the trolls of course). Talka bout riding a high and then having it ripped from you in the least probable way. Most of the Toronto fans I know and have dealt with over the years are quite nice. Much different than that insane fanbase in Montreal. It’s like the two Canadian cities are in different countries.

  • http://twitter.com/Zj_6 Zack Jones

In my opinion, Reimer is the guy going forward. Watching this team all year and I can say confidently he was the MVP of the regular season. He’s only 23 so despite him really not helping out at all in either OT game this series, I’m confident enough in him going forward

  • Bruinman86

SO probably in a year or two he’s likely to step it up to the next level. He’s still quite young and developing, so if he can work on shutting down the rebounds, he would be a pretty good goalie.

  • Anonymous

wow. bruins cheat and refs hand them game on a platter. what a shame, but no surprise.

  • worstmayorever is a tranny

What a pathetic turd you are Mike, Pete, Bill, Sally, Ron…now the B’s cheated…dude, you have a serious problem…a really, really BIG problem with life…

  • Anonymous

least I don’t root for the Boo-ins, and so an way ahead of you in life on that score. But you may be right about Rob Ford.

  • worstmayorever is a tranny

I doubt that very much…your presence, your diction, your overall lack of the English language tells me (and everyone else) that you are a 100%, grade A compulsive L-O-S-E-R!!!!!
