The Patriots are being doubted by the Giants but the Pats don’t seem to care. Whatever Manning does I for one do not care. Any quarterback or player self proclaims themselves as elite makes me feel like they are the only one that thinks so. I know how the news feel about him but his elite position is up to us not him to proclaim. Neither Payton or Tom have ever made such a ludicrous comment and never would. The Giants have there front four but we have one of the best lines in football. I don’t know if they are elite like Eli proclaims himself to be but they sure look like it to me. Even his front four is elite they he  is. He throws big passes but still makes bad decisions.GO PATS!

Eli was asked in an interview if he considered himself an elite quarterback. What was he supposed to say?  I can’t recall any NFL player ever saying they sucked. I won’t mention the fact that Tom Terrific has lost 2 Super Bowls to the Giants led by Eli. I won’t mention that when the Giants won the first one against the PattyCakes that it destroyed the myth that the PattyCakes were somehow “perfect”  Facts are facts in Super Bowl play Eli is 2-0 over Tommy Boy.

Eli NEVER proclaimed he was elite!! Hed was asked a question by Michael Kay “Do you think u are a elite quarterback? In the same class as Brady”? What was he supposed to say??? It doesn’t even matter now. He has now beaten the great Brady in 2 Superbowls, 2 Superbowl Mvp’s. If that’s not elite I don’t know what is!!!

Good Grief. is the world full of prople that hear part of a commment and make up the rest of it for themself.  You said it was up to “us” or the media to decide if Eli was elite.  Then why did a member of the media ask Eli if he considered himself elite?  I guess that reporter couldn’t decide for himself.  You make it like Eli was up on a soapbox doing a Mohammed Ali… “I am the Greatest of allllllll time.  I am not an Eli fanatic but I wouldn’t respect him at all if he didn’t have confidence in his own ability.  And if anyone thinks the Pats aren’t at home right now fuming mad at their 2nd straight Super Bowl loss to the Giants they are kidding the themselves.  What does it say about the Pats if you say they don’t care that they loss.  The Pats have a lot to be upset about.  Boo Hoo Pats.  i have 2 favorite NFL teams…  First the STEELERS and 2nd…any team that beats the Pats.

You didn’t get the whole story, he was asked on a local radio show if he thought that he was elite and he said yes, he didn’t outright declare it. You can’t spell elite without ELI.
