The best part of last night was watching mr kraft stand there by himself after the last play just wondering what just happened. Hey Test, check out New England professional team sports titles: Boston Celtics: 17 NBA Championships; Boston Red Sox 7 World Series Championships; Boston Bruins 6 Stanely Cup Titles, and the Patriots 3 Super Bowls.  Pittsburgh doesn’t come close. A little perspective please!!!! 

The one common theme in every super bowl the patriots have played in with Belichick as head coach is that they were all decided by 3 points. If you’re stupid enough to believe that the reason they lost the last 2 by 3 points instead of winning them by 3 is because of outright cheating, you’re a lunatic. The lesson here – any of those 5 super bowls could have gone either way. A 3 point decision is indicative of an evenly matched game that was decided by the smallest of margins – such as a David Tyree circus catch off the helmet or the Giants recovering Bradshaw’s fumble on their own 10 yard line instead of the Patriots. Simply put; in the first 3, the ball was in the Patriots possession at the right time of the game and in the last two, the ball was in Eli’s hands at the right time. There’s no science to this.

I have to say though, no one gives a damn that the Steelers had four Super Bowl championships in the 1960s, people only care about whats happening with today’s players (aside from Steeler fans I guess).  Yes, the Patriots lost to the Steelers this year (in what?? week five??) but whose to say that the Patriots wouldn’t have won a rematch? (one of you even said that the Steelers played Denver with second string players, you think the Steelers would have beat Brady with second string players?).

And as for the spy-gate talk going around (again) I am resigned to the fact that some people will never let it go, and will continue to talk about it fifty years from now.  I will say this however: losers make excuses for losing, winners learn from it.
