Alabama coach Nick Saban worked with Bill Belichick for several seasons in Cleveland, and probably knows the intricacies of a Belichick defense better than most. That’s what makes this video (from our friends at Smart Football so fascinating to watch — at a recent press conference, Saban was asked about the “star” and the “money” positions on defense, and he explains where he first heard them (with Belichick in Cleveland), how they were created, how they’ve evolved and what makes a quality player at those positions.
