Sure leaves the PAts pretty thin at WR. Somebody goes down and we may end up with CBs playing WR. Remember the issue we had when safeties were cut to the bone. Edleman did an admirable job but I question if it will work the other way around.

Branch makes 1 f the last 3 super bowl drops or moves faster than a snail and we are SB Champs. He was super slow in the pre season too. IF we didn’t keep Kevin Faulk, then why the heck keep Branch?

I think they were making a call between him and Edelmen. Since Edelmen is a smart versitle player, it was a no brainer. We all know BB loves the smart players who can help in many areas. Edelmen was a QB at Kent St and has transitioned into a WR, a return man, and a defensive back at times. You can’t do that, at this level unless you know the game well.
I knew we should have grabbed a WR earlier. Now we just have to wait and see. Truth be told, I don’t think Brandon Lloyd is the answer. We need a bigger guy with some speed…..doesn’t Calvin Johnson have a younger cousin playing somewhere?
