Poll: What will be the key to the AFC championship? 01.20.13 at 3:01 pm ET
By

FOXBORO — There are several factors that figure to play a role in the outcome of tonight’s AFC championship. Rob Gronkowski is out for the playoffs with a broken forearm. Ray Lewis could be playing in his final game in the NFL. The weather will be bitterly cold and windy by the end of the night. The Patriots are motivated by the desire to get back to the Super Bowl and finally win their fourth Vince Lombardi trophy title after near misses to the Giants in their previous two trips. The Ravens are looking for revenge after losing in this game last year, 23-20, when Sterling Moore knocked the game-winning TD out of the hands of Lee Evans and Billy Cundiff shanked a 32-yard field goal in the closing seconds.

Sad to say Brady is no longer a post season threat.

Why because he lost the AFC championship game this year? that’s a pretty dumb comment.

Can’t disagree with you more. But I guess we’ll agree to disagree.  When you have the most postseason wins of all-time, you’re always a threat.  Tonight, he actually played pretty well, despite the numbers.  There were key drops in this game at inopportune moments, and the defense really took a hit once Talib left the game.  I mean, that pretty much blew up the defensive game plan.  The turnovers were unlucky, but credit Baltimore for creating those opportunities.  I give Brady a B- in this one, but the offense as a whole gets a D.  Too many drops, the running game wasn’t able to pick up important short yardage situations at times, and they didn’t go hurry up enough I felt.
