Devin McCourty still struggling with concussion

There was no practice for the Patriots on Wednesday, but per league rules, they were still required to issue a simulated practice report.

To that point, wide receiver Josh Boyce (ankle) and safety Devin McCourty (concussion) would not have been able to practice if the Patriots were on the field Wednesday. McCourty left Sunday’s game against the Ravens with a head injury in the second half, and did not return. In addition, Boyce has been nagged by an ankle issue he’s been dealing with since a loss to Miami earlier this month.

Meanwhile safety Steve Gregory (finger/knee) and running back Shane Vereen (groin) would have been limited — both also left Sunday’s game against Baltimore early because of injury.
