FOXBORO — The NFL playoff schedule has been released, and with the Patriots holding the No. 2 seed, they have earned a first-round bye and will host a divisional round game Saturday, Jan.11, at 8:15 p.m. on CBS. The Patriots’ opponent is dependent on next weekend’s Wild Card games, but it will be either the Colts, Chiefs or Bengals.

No. 1 seed Denver and New England have earned first-round byes and now await their playoff opponents. Cincinnati earned the No. 3 seed and will host the No. 6 seed Chargers, while the Colts will host the Chiefs in the matchup of the Nos. 4 and 5 seeds next weekend. The Broncos will play the lower-seeded team that advances, while the Patriots will oppose the higher seed.

The AFC Championship will be played Sunday, Jan. 19 leading to the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Here is the AFC Wild Card Weekend Schedule:

No. 5 Kansas City Chiefs at No. 4 Indianapolis Colts, Saturday Jan. 4, at 4:35 p.m. on NBC.

No. 6 San Diego Chargers at No. 3 Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday Jan. 5, at 1:05 p.m. on CBS.
